Our plants and facilities use process technology from Haldor Topsøe for Synthesis Gas, UOP - DOW for CO2 Removal, and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Japan for the Octanol Plant. The raw materials used for this process are PROPYLENE (Liquid Propylene Gas) and NATURAL GAS. Octanol is produced from Propylene and Synthesis Gas (a mixture of Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen gas) through Aldol Condensation of Butyraldehyde and then followed by Hydrogenation.
Since 2015 started to produce liquid CO2 by extraction process utilizing flue gas from reformer which contains a huge amount of CO2, using Union Engineering – Denmark technology. Our CO2 liquid meets with food-grade quality standards, as we had obtained FSSC-22.000 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, Halal Certificate and Manufactured Local Content Level (TKDN) amounted to 97%
