On Thursday (12/8) PT Petro Oxo Nusantara carried out the first export of Isobutyraldehyde (IBAL) products to China. The export of this product is a very valuable momentum as well as a realization of PT Petro's vision of "Breakthrough To The Next Level" which one of its missions is product diversification. To note, the demand for Isobutyraldehyde products is currently increasing where the product is widely used as a raw material for Neo Pentyl Glycol (NPG) and NPG is used for dry coating automotive paints and various home appliance products.

Deputy President Director of PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, Mr. Tjiptany also added, “This first export is our latest breakthrough to contribute more to the country's foreign exchange. For the initial stage we have a contract for 5 containers, in the future it will grow to reach 50 containers. We are very confident that our product will become a prima donna in China, and will also generate substantial foreign exchange for the Republic of Indonesia.”

President Director of PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, Mr. Jaya Martapa said that the export of IBAL products is a clear proof of PT PON's vision where PT PON is a producer of 2EH petrochemical products and has succeeded in creating new products to answer market needs. “We export 100% of isobutyraldehyde to its main market, namely the People's Republic of China, with this diversification, it will definitely increase our contribution to the country's foreign exchange. Momentum like this, we must mark as proof that we are committed to giving something more valuable to the motherland, the Republic of Indonesia that we love.” said the President Director of PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, Jaya Martapa.

Mr. Jaya Martapa also added that the initial export of IBAL products is also in line with the "Go Global" program from Pertamina as one of the indirect owners of PT Petro Oxo Nusantara through PT Tuban Petrochemicals Industries as the 50% shareholder of PT Petro Oxo Nusantara.
